What I Watched June & July

These past few months, I’ve been watching a lot of different shows. The reason it’s taken me so long to make another post is because I tend to start a new show before I finish the one I’m on.
In June and July, I watched Celebrity, a K-Drama about a girl who becomes a social media influencer overnight and turns into the very thing she once despised. I watched Glamorous, a romantic comedy about a gay man who finds his dream job at a makeup company. I watched See You In My 19th Life, a K-Drama about a woman who can reincarnate and remember everything from her past lives, but falls in love for the first time in her nineteenth life. And I watched My Hero Academia, an anime about a superhero society in which a young boy discovers his superpowers, joins a superhero school, and has to fight bad guys.
Here are some of my thoughts on these shows:
1. Celebrity
I really liked this show. I finished it within a few days.
2. Glamorous
I liked this show, but it took me a while to finish. I wouldn’t say it was my favorite, but I would recommend it and it’s definitely worth watching.
3. See You In My 19th Life
I simply loved this show and couldn’t stop watching it. It even brought me to tears. But I thought that the pacing of the show was a bit fast for all the content they wanted to fit into 12 episodes. Also some of the storylines seemed unnecessary and there weren’t a lot of opportunities to explore each character's backstory.
4. My Hero Academia
My boyfriend and I recently finished watching, or rather are up to date with, My Hero Academia. To be honest, I didn’t think I would like this anime as much as I did. My boyfriend and I even stayed up late watching the last season.
